About

Edwin J. Lukas is a seasoned business lawyer with demonstrated expertise in corporate law, corporate governance, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, private equity and credit, commercial transactions, and private client services. He advises clients ranging in size from publicly traded companies to growth-stage capital seekers in a host of industries, including manufacturing, transportation, logistics, multi-trade services, and other industries.​

Mr. Lukas currently serves as Co-Chairman of Charthouse Holdings LLC. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of PAMT Corp. (Nasdaq: PAMT), United Petroleum Transports, Inc., and Universal Traffic Service, Inc.

​

He has served as a partner at leading Detroit-based law firms and as a member of the Corporate and Securities Group in Ford Motor Company’s Office of the General Counsel, where he worked from 1999 through 2023. From 2016 to 2020, he served as an executive and adviser to the founders of one of Michigan’s most prominent family offices, providing strategic guidance on private and public company investments, governance, and succession planning.

He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania (1989) and the University of Detroit School of Law (1992), where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the University of Detroit Law Review
